WANT TO BOOK A BACKYARD BBQ or BONFIRE WITH JARED BLAKE?

Well, folks, here’s your chance!  Since Jared is planning to hit the long road of wide open spaces again, we’ve decided to throw in some stops with fans along the way. (You know, the lazy fans that won’t drive a few hours away to a show.)  So, we’ve put some stacks of wood in the back of the van and told him you were bringing the lighter fluid.

How to do this:

JARED answers to 3 names: Jared, J, and J-bla.  So, we’re giving you 3 types of parties to pick from.  They all require you give him 1 can of long-cut straight “Skoal”, 2 sweat rags, a gallon of water, and somin’ to eat.  He might bring a friend with him, so you’ll need an extra plate (don’t worry, you’ll like ‘em).

THE THREE SHOWS- #1) Living room sessions.  If you rather be in the house or don’t have a barn, then you might pick this one.  It’s an acoustic show. He’ll need a chair. Nothin’ else.  #2) J-Bla Bash. Outdoor acoustic show.  You gotta get a stage, lights, and PA (if you wanna hear over the hootin’ n hollarin’).  A pickup works just fine for a stage.  For an extra doe, Jared will bring his own PA. #3) Band Bash.  He’ll bring the band, nuff said.

THE SONGS- He pretty much plays what he wants to.  You can ask him to play somin’ different, but he’s killed a lot of brain cells, and prolly don’t know it.  It’s typically a mix of originals and his favorite covers. Song requests and redo’s are gonna cost ya.  He’s not gonna stop while you refresh your mug, so you want the same song again, it’s $20. Sweet Home Alabama is gonna cost ya 100 bucks.  Don’t ask unless you got it.

1. Contact us with a few dates you have in mind and give us the details, like which show you want and where you are (a picture of the place, unless its the white house, doesn’t tell us what state you’re in)!

2. Be prepared to make a $500 deposit and sign a lil’ contract.  It ain’t no big deal, but we want to make sure Jim Bob is really planning for a good time and we got it in writing.  The balance is due when you see his pearly whites.  You’ll know the balance when we know the details.

3. Jared will play for at least an hour, but you gotta make sure there’s a place for him to do it.  He’s gotta guitar, so the comfy lounge chair ain’t gonna work.

We don’t post private shows on the site unless you ask us to, but remember that means everyone knows where you live now.  That’s about it for now.  We’ll do our best to work with each request, but give us a couple days to respond.
